Red Cine-x Pro Export Issue...

Tech support hasn't been able to help, so I thought I'd see if any of you have had a similar problem to what's currently happening to me.

Every time I try and export something, RCXP gets stuck.

It asks me where/what to name the file, gets added to the export queue, the status says running, the fans spin up,
but no ETA ever comes up and the progress stays at 0%.

I thought I'd try and make a new export preset, and when I tried to go into edit the Compression settings for Quicktime, I got a spinning beach ball.

Both require a force quit of the app.

This happens for tiffs, psd, quicktimes... I can bump out an r3d with no problem.
I've tried this with different drives (external and internal), different r3ds. There is plenty of space on all for the size files I'm trying to export.
Most strangely, I have this happening on two of my machines (mbp and imac).
At the request of tech support I just did a clean install on a newly formatted computer and it worked (exported) normally.

Could this be some sort of glitch in the way RCXP is connecting to the export codecs?

My primary machine is:
mbp 6,2
2.53 ghz i5
10.6.8
8 gb ram
rcxp build 14 & 15 (error happens in both)

This machine has never been speedy at exporting, but I've been bumping out quicktimes and TIFFs all summer long.
I can't think of anything that changed (no new OS, no new FCP or Premiere updates) except that I updated (and then reverted to an earlier version) of RCXP.

I'm considering upgrading to Mountain Lion, and I guess that would give me an opportunity to reinstall everything from scratch, but I was planning to do that when I had a bit more time available.

Any suggestions?

(I can send verbose logs/screenshots if anyone would find it useful)

HI Aaron,

Can you email verbose log files to redcinex at red dot com please? Just do a small Quicktime export and clear out your log directory first.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

I've been working with Kris Prygrocki, and he's got all my logs and screenshots...
He wasn't able to figure out what the issue was, so I thought I'd see if anyone else had experienced anything like this.
Would you like me to send them to you as well?

Aaron
