Audio during playback on rocket out

as far as i know, dvi doesn't carry audio at all. it's only video. i think sound can only be passed through via hd sdi on the rocket.

Though it's not the op's question, you are correct. HDMI = DVI + Digital Audio

I requested and asked about this a couple months ago and recently at the beginning of this month.
I'd like to sync audio and watch the video via rocket on my flanders but I can't hear the audio with the rocket so I just sync and watch on my desktop monitors....

I too posted about this last month.

The Rockets manual has always stated it supports embedded audio via 1BNC.

Not found this to be true so far...

Even the ability to play audio via another device (while the Rocket plays video) would be useful.

Hey... If this is never going to happen then even though I will be a bit disappointed (and we will have to look at other dailies soloutions) I'd love to know? I apreciate things change and hardware might not pan out as powerful as prevously thought...
