  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

We would love to, but Jim and I need to stay home and babysit Dragons... But Ted will be there with the RED UK team to represent.

PS Above, I'm talking about a RedRay projection, 4K projections I have seen at IBC!
 
YEs to HU2 support out of the gate. Will also work with Element's system. other options will eventually come.
 
Any chance for a full size USB port to use for a LED Lens Light and charge my phone on those long 16hr days

If charging your phone really was one of the best things about the R1.. then we failed horribly. :)

If you have cables coming out of those front ports, I think they'll just too often be running into follow focus', big lenses, etc. It would be better if the module is towards the front of the camera but cables coming out the side. If there was an easy way to switch which side that would be a bonus.
 
Hi Jarred will the meizler module have a dedicated AV receiver to distribute at least HD video on set ? This thing really looks like a game changer...
 
What's that 3d connector for, Jarred? There are some 3D capabilities available only via Meizler?
