IS it just me, or would anyone else find this useful?

The issue being with non tape/film based cameras, that if you are doing some MOS shot, that you want to ready for, be it a stunt, working with kids, or whatever, if you roll a slate and then cut, the slate is it's own file, and not attached in anyway to the shot it was meant to slate, the next thing the camera rolls on. Or you miss a slate and want to tail slate, again same problem.

Am I just going to have to get used to it, or is there a solution?

I'm resurrecting this zombie thread because it's still a good idea, and there still isn't a solution ;-) How about you could assign a button for head slate, or tail slate, and then the next shot would be attached to the appropriate clip?

Sounds like a winner!

How about making an annotation in the camera report and moving on in life? It works all the time and requires no convoluted menu/file setting.

If you are not keeping a camera report, then ask the script super to make an annotation in his/her report.

I'd love to have this feature!
