Cavision Dual Mini Follow Focus; Thoughts?

[daniel caruso]

Hello everyone, hope shooting has been good.

I am looking for a dual studio focus but the current 19mm options are not in my budget. Just came across this new Cavision dual focus.

Has anyone seen this unit, or heard any good things?

Thanks for the input!

Can't speak for their follow focus units, but I own a cavision shoulder rig and it is a pretty solid product.

Its Garbage

ahh, really? why do you say Ryan? Anyone tried it?

[Ryan Hamblin]

I had one... it is not built to 15mm spec so doesnt work with certain lenses... lots of play... just all around not a solid product. Put that money towards something proper.

fair enough ryan, thanks man! I was looking at the 19mm version, to be sure we mean the same focus unit.

I spoke incorrectly as that is not the version I had... although mine was very similar. Everyone I know that has had cavision gear has ditched it due to quality and lack of standardized spacing etc...
