How old is the head and what is the weight limit please?
 
I am the second user of the head so its difficult to say how old the head actually is. Ive had it for 2-3 years and have used
it without any problems.. weight limit in the field is approx 20-25kg
 
That is a good head. I have one and it has supported my R1 with heavy zoom quite well. The R1 fully equiped is pushing it's weight limit, but it is perfect for an Epic or Scarlet.
