DSMC Tactical Top Plate + Epic-M before upgrade

I know this have been treated in the past but even using the search function, I can't find it.
Is the Tactical Top Plate compatible with a non upgraded Epic-M (i.e. without the new mounting points)?

My Bomb Squad told me it won't work on my camera but it looks like some people are using it with non-upgraded Epic-M, any feedback?

The Epic-M version of the plastic Redmote antenna cover on the top of the camera ( with a small bump at the rear) interfered with the fitting of the top plate on my Epic-M prior to upgrade.
