Dumb Question for you - what kind of image circle do these project (like maybe close to 22mm? - if so could be a good set for the BMCC or another smaller image circle camera like gh2 in crop mode) Are they made to work with a prism camera or a single sensor convergence?) - just trying to help you suss options for where they could be used.

There is an adapter (abakus maybe???) to put these 'prisim assuming' lenses on a single chip camera. They will cover 2k on Scarlet but not sure beyond that...

they are arguably some of the most advanced lenses every produced and a small set would cost me alot to hire a few years back... check out Zodiac for the quality they could muster through a prisim onto a 2/3 inch chip... the wides where especially standout. The price is really cheap but buying them means you should have a 2/3 inch camera... or job that you want to get the best out of a 2/3inch camera OR you want to gamble that 2/3 will come back.

A happy owner operator with a Sony 9000pl or F23 should jump at these...

Tony is a good guy and a very safe person to deal with!

Michael

Thanks for that Michael,
You are correct and I had a chat with Abekus on the subject and they reccomend the adaptor 200 model that they manufacture. Costs about £1500 and you turn the lenses into T2.5 AND they cover full 35mm format in a PL mount when used.
Not a bad deal for modern sensor cameras; that drops about one ISO? If you work at T2.5.
Sounds like a good deal for an old film guy like me. Thats a whole stop loss.
Cheers

hiya tony try lori carson at broadcast video warehouse .
she casts a pretty big net , sales wise and people trust her alot.
i wonder if her commission would be similar to your finder fee.

Hi Dan, Thanks for that. I think there is more than a good chance having compared S16 and BMCC frames sizes that most S16mm lenses will cover the BMCC area. Only problemo is an adaptor for that camera.
However; maybe somebody is still shooting on HD. I know UK Dramas and Docco's are.
This is a very realistic price to clear.
Cheers
