A few weeks ago my letter from red said 7 to 10 business days.. Now that i have actually emailed RED for my RMA, I was notified that it now takes 10 to 15 Business days..

RED Team - your input would be appreciated.

took nearly 3 weeks for me, but then, I also had them repair my 5" touch screen (it wouldn't stay in place without jiggling a little bit).. I also dropped off and picked up in person.

My M to arrive tomorrow after eleven business days. Not bad. And free! I am impressed...

Brent posted an update in another thread that we got a landslide of EPIC-Ms in for the Update Program and, as a result, processing times are a few days longer than the anticipated 7-10 business days. We dedicated extra resources to knock this backlog out and the good news is we expect to be completely back on track by the end of this week.

Good deal!......I may get to send it in soon.....cant complain, camera has been in the field working. It never fails, as soon as I get the RMA email from RED Team, we get a call for a job.

It's been quiet for a few days, I will request an RMA for the update. :-) $$

Sent our camera back 22 days ago, just sent an inquiry on when I can expect re-delivery... Right now, I'm loosing money every day, so I really hope it will be back soon. Not complaining though, I'm getting a new camera for free, after all...

When RED gives notice that you can send in your camera, start the process and send it off ASAP if you can. When I got my notice, I started the process and got my shipping label right away... Unfortunately I didn't hand it over to FedEx until about a day before my label expired, which was about 20 days later, since little jobs or things kept coming up. Apparently many in that group did the same and RED got flooded with a bunch of cameras at that time, possibly overlapping with others from a subsequent group sending in early. Round trip time for my camera was 29 or 30 days... Ouch. But the upgrade is nice. I can use all the bolt positions on the RED tactical top plate, since everything lines up like an EPIC-X. And there's the reduction in weight. Well worth it.

thanks everyone for the intel.. I just received my new Epix X 3032. I will be shooting both cams next week on a print job for the fashion magazine SIX... Yes a print job! But ill still be shooting motion for my website --if the X checks out ok, the M will be shipped off on Tuesday.. Im kind of psyched- The M will be on stix mounted vertical, and the M will be mounted horizontal .... My DIT is freaking out about file transfer times and is bugging me to shoot more conservatively than usual!
