I have a problem and I can not take away, on my 2 Red Epic.
I made blackshading and when I go over 75 fps I get a horizontal line.
Unfortunately I do not have the old firmware 3.0.7 with me, no problem with that.
Does anyone have an idea? I can solve?
If I set the presets on blackshading okay, if imposed blackshading made by the user happens to me the horizontal line.
I posted 2 quick snapshot R3D and jpeg ..

thanks
Luigi

Have you sent a ticket to RED yet.. They will help you sort it.

Yes MArk.. i have send ticket i wait :(
I hope they contact me soon ..
I'm recording but with the blackshading default ... otherwise on a user having the line ....

Stay on em.... its a serious problem.

umm...
I went down to 3.0.7 ok at all frame rates with user blackshading ... 3.2.16 with the problem persists ...
Would be interesting to know if I only have this problem with 2 red epic ...
All works! i do blackshading in user mode, with 3.2.16,reboot and
push to ISO 12800 and redgamma 3, turn up to 120 fps to 5k ws .. look at the screen if there is a line. I'm curious to know how it goes.
Thank you.

I saw this exact visual anomaly (the horizontal line) a few months back. It only happened when blackshading was performed before the sensor had warmed up, though. The position of the line would change depending on the resolution. Perhaps the two issues are related.

Yes Mike same here, but with 3.0.7 user blackshading is ok in 3.2.16 not work....
Mike but at what temperature you do?

Thanks Alexey...
yes with Restoring blackshading go to factory blackshading...obviously you have to redo the blackshading and then the problem remains ...
let me know waiting for your response.

thanks
Luigi
