  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Gone shot on EPIC

Looks like it was generated by an automatic crime-movie-generator.

Everyone that think that she is both the hero and the schizo villain raises a hand...

I'd love to read your script which is better. Seriously, PM. me. No offense to you, but statistically speaking the most likely scenario is that you do not have a script. If you do (unlikely) there is an extremely high probability that it is some talky, navel-gazing stuff about "relationships" with unlikeable, low to no income main characters and no real plot - just lots of talking, page after page, going nowhere.

If not I have a check for you.

It's really hard to write a script, even harder to get it made.

Got him all boxed in huh, couple lines and you've wrapped his whole life up?
Drat.......

I wanted to like gone, seemed like a good story, but it fell apart for me on many levels.

Agreed but that doesn't mean it's a good script.

Easy does it Rob. I'm with Thomas in saying it's looks predictable. Because a movie is hard to make, doesn't mean you have to like every (crappy) movie. That aside, the RED looks pretty good in the trailer anyway.

I have never written a script, because I'm not that good....therefore, I've never released a movie.

Fair enough. But give credit to those with the courage to do so, and to make something that is even vaguely watchable. It's really, really hard to do.

Maybe Gone is not great. I didn't sum him up at all- I was merely stating probabilities (nothing personal to him) , as someone lots of people gave scripts to at some point.

I've struggled with making storys and scripts, and have always given up, as I find it extremely hard to do. But I just wonder sometime, when big companies release really expensive big movies with hundreds of manpower poured into, and everything but the script is extremely well done. I just can't understand that someone along the line (preferebly at startup) didn't notice: "Ehmm...the script kinda sucks. Get that one guy to fix it, or find me someone who will...before we hire 300 people, and start smashing expensive cars."

And sorry, I must confess, I've not seen Gone, I was just commenting on the trailer.
