selling cs 5.5?

I must confess to being a very impractical person with very little insight into business practices, so forgive me if this is a stupid question: I bought production premium cs 6; is it okay to sell my version of production premium cs 5.5? I hope someone will bother to chime in.

No. It cannot be re-sold unless you are talking about selling an unopened package that has not been registered.

was the cs6 an upgrade or a full retail version?


if its a full version you can sell 5.5, if its an upgrade no. In order to sell it you must delete it AND deactivate it. it doesn't matter if its registered or not if you deactivate it

Okay thanks guys! There goes the idea of a couple of hundred easily earned euros . cs 6 was an upgrade.

Hans, I will add that I do not know if the licensing, etc is different in Europe for Adobe software?? Perhaps you can't sell it if you are not in the USA, I have no idea on that...
