Good day . Just got my Pro Battary Module (QUAD) And found that i don not need it . First of all it is huge :) , and second no D-Tap power , sow i can not power my Wireless Focus and Monitor .
Want to sale it now , but first want to check , may be there is 3rd part company that have any solution to get D-Tap power with Red Volts ?
Thanks .

As I understand it the Pro battery module draws power from the redvolts in sequence, not in parallel, so it would be very limited what you could get out of a power tap, in addition to the epic/evf/lcd.
Haven't seen the specs for the revolts max load before cutoff, but it will be below 70W would be my qualified guess....

The updated module adapter has the power tap, and you need the module adapter anyway to use the battery module.

Where do I get this beast? Can my existing adapter be updated?

Believe it or not you can't get the SSD card in or out with an XL battery installed on the operator side port of the Quad Battery Module. Major design flaw? or just another Red thing? At least Red could indicate this before I purchased the XL Batteries. Nowhere is written in the product description section in the store. I was shocked the other day when I tried all the parts on a shoot. I guess I should return the XL's, sell the Quad Battery module. It would have been way too long with the pro I/O module anyway. And I was trying to get over the lack of P-tap. I give the pro quad battery module a fail. I'm an New York guy. Perhaps they don't know what a P-Tap is in Cali.

P-Tap Stands for PowerTap. It's an Anton Bauer Creation. Shaped like a D, many people mistakenly call it a D-tap, including myself for many years. It is indeed a P-tap. Alas… P or D, it's still missing from the anything Red.
