15mm Rods with 100mm spacing options HELP!!

I just got the my DSMC Quick Release Platform, 2 15mm Universal Mounts, and Modular Assault Plate. I already had an existing rail system but wanted something more secure and something with the quick release. Sadly i had no clue that a "studio" system meant the rails were farther apart. So none of my existing accessories will work with it.:emote_22_yikes: I think i'm going to get the Zacuto Z-J-1 Universal Adapter (http://www.adorama.com/ZCZJ1.html). So i can add more rails and use what i already have because i couldn't find much, if anything, that used the 100mm spacing.

Anyone know where i can find some good shoulder pads, counter weights, and other accessories for 100mm spacing with 15mm rods? Besides RED's gear obviously.

Sounds like the DSMC 15mm ADAPTOR (CENTERED) is what you need.

All of the major accessory companies that make Epic/Scarlet accessories make units with 100mm spacing for 15mm rods. Wooden Camera, Element Technica, Allstar, Action/Innocinema, VF...just to name a few. What you are describing is called "15mm studio" spacing as opposed to "15mm Lightweight (LW) spacing". 15mm studio is 100mm apart, and offset to the right (from the user's perspective) while 15mm LW is 60mm apart and is centered on the lens. Here is a diagram that O'Connor publishes that illustrates both of those along with 19mm rods on 104mm spacing, which are centered like 15mm LW. Most markets settle on one standard or the other...LA happens to be mostly 15mm studio...while other cities, like NY, are mostly 19mm. This is something that can be a big issue if you rent out your gear...or rent other gear from a rental house to use with your existing gear...because you may end up with non-compatible accessories. It definitely helps to have everything adhering to one standard.
