Sounds retarded but I can't believe how much I love my Side Handle, how much easier and smoother it feels to shoot hand held, run n gun.

Took me awhile to decide whether I should get one for my Scarlet with some Redvolts, but it's def worth it

Soon, the new firmware will arrive for stills and our 120fps in um...yeah 1080p not standard def haha (hint hint) 120fps in 3K sweet ha

Oh and Red Europe/UK have been awesome and very fast service

Glad you like it. I have not used the side handle, and I don't think I will very soon. With a front heavy PL lens handholding is pretty awkward.
(but the Nikon mount is on the horizon...)

I must also admit I rarely use the features on my Handle. I mainly use it for powering my Scarlet, and of course to hold it tight. Apart from that I almost always use the touch screen which I really like very much. It makes the work much easier and faster.

LOVE my side handle. Don't have a Touch Screen or Redmote to compare, but I do love the Side Handle.

I also should take the time to figure out how to customize the buttons. But that's on me.

yeah love using the touch screen too but the side handle is nice and that tiny bit faster for focus check, scroll etc
