I'm hoping one of you guys that has had a lot of experience with R3D footage from the Red-One Camera can tell me what is happening. Maybe I'm missing something, which is very likely. But, there is one thing I just don't get and I hope someone can clear it up for me since I am still very new to the Red-One.
We have been working on a small production of our own for awhile now, and incorporated in it are going to be some time-lapse sequences done with our Nikon D7000 DSLR Camera.
No matter how I adjust the R3D footage in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5, it is just NOT as vivid, as sharp, and as impactual as those shots from the Nikon D7000.
Am I doing something wrong? Are there some adjustments in the camera menu or in CS5.5 that I am not using? Is it just an illusion?
When the shots from our Nikon are up on the monitor, they blow me away with their beauty. The ones from the Red-One do not. I am a little confused and bewildered by this.
BTW - I "am" using good lenses on the R1.
Any help or advise or instructions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
