How come the camera won't run until my battery is dead. when my battery drops voltage the camera tells me that the power is too low. no matter how many times I click ok the message comes back, can i still record?

Example voltage 11.5V drops to 10.0 Volts and message starts.
My other cameras don't have this issue using a battery belt.

This is obviously a bug. The message should not be continuously shown after you hit OK. We will look in to this.

thanks
another note is once the voltage drops it turns red and I don't know if the camera will shut off at a certain point.
I also found that the message blocks me from recording or turning off the camera because i have to hit ok and try to move before the message pops backup.
Should I be using a 14.V battery or should I get a 12VDC 17.2 amp battery or would that be too much power......man I need help with this
