Having a weird RCX glitch.... Screen shot inside

RCX wont let me export. What happens is as follows, i take in the clip, and when i want to render it to QT the dialogue box wont let me select where to save the clip, it references some folder that doesn't exist anymore. I have tried reinstalling it 5 times, with 10 reboots, and still the same issue. When i do finally click export it just fails. Whats going on?

Also, i tried to switch from FCP to Premiere, but for some reason the RED patch doesnt take, so thats a dead end.

Im on a brand new MBP 17" with LION. This is killing me. I need to be able to deliver footage in Prores!

what version of RCX are you running? Are you putting the file on the timeline and then trying to render out?

Actually just select "Output with clip Filename to Selected Folder"
and reselect a different output folder.

With those settings you are tellingittoask you where to save the file each time you hit export. That is only a preset, after that you have to set what to export ( clip in player, bin, selected clip, etc,) and then hit export. What you have a screen shot of is the preset creation window, not the export dialogue. If this doesn't make sense check the manual and try following the directions to the letter.

Funny you say that, because what im trying to render is the Scarlet footage from a comparison shot....
