  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Zeiss add 15 and 135 to CP.2 lineup

The CP lineup is starting to look tempting. But where's the 25mm T2.1? (based on the ZE/ZF 25/2)

probably from the 135 that Zeiss used to make for Contax.
Correct. Contax made two 135's. The 135 2.8 Sonnar, and the 135 F2 planar. I have to imagine the CP2 is an update of the Planar. The design was not only one stop faster, but optimized for portraits and soft focusing wide open at F2 (great for women).

They will also announce three high speed lenses, all T1.5

Here's a quote from Zeiss newsletter

Filmmakers can also look forward to a complete new 3-lens-set of Compact Prime CP.2 Super Speed lenses with T-Stop of 1.5

My guess is that they will be based on 35 f1.4, 50 f1.4 and 85 f1.4 ZE/ZF primes.

Very very impressive. Nice light set. I am getting 15mm and 70-200mm zoom when available.
