I have not been able to successfully hot swap Red Bricks using a redvolt in the side handle. I have heard of others doing this, but when I pull my Red Brick the camera loses power.

Send your handle in. I just got mine back today and it's swapping fine now. All I've tested is starting the camera up with both a redvolt in the handle and a v-mount on the back, but it keeps power when I yank the brick.

Mine will swap, but only manually. It won't switch over on it's own to redvolt if voltage is low. It just gives warning, at which I can yank the brick and it will switch. This may be how it supposed to work... not sure.

I had issues with that and sent in mine. Now I can swap if I unplug the lemo. Still problems with pulling the brick. I'm going to wait for a couple firmware upgrades to see if that improves it before resorting to sending it off again.
