Anyone know if there's a way to use round screw-on ND filters for the RPP's?

Wanted to see if there's a way to have an ultra portable rig without a matte box.

Thanks
Joe

Anything with a 105mm thread... if you can find the right parts you could use 4.5" drop ins and a rubber sunshade. Probably will prove frustrating and annoyingly slow to unscrew when changing lenses and you'll want to use a LMB-5 110mm clamp on style in the end.

Bob G., I know what you mean regarding the RPP's. Not really trying to save weight, but looking for more compactness and still able to use shallow DOF with ND filters.

I have a red matte box now. It's portability is fine as it's very light. But I just wanted to have a setup where I don't have to carry extra baggage. Kinda like grabbing an SLR and going out to shoot.

Seems that it's not a popular idea.

I hear ya. I was just yanking your chain :) I threw in the towel on portability and use Leica R's for when I need something light.

I know you were kidding around :)

So it seems 105mm is the thread, thanks Matt. I guess Schneider makes that size too.

I'll let you guys know how it works out.

Thanks again.
