can't export quicktime files from RCX

hello everybody

i can't convert R3D files to quicktime files in redcine x. i do everything by the book: choose redcode file, choose preset (QT, apple pro ress, 1920x1080), hit export and after couple second get message: exporter setup task failed, with 0% progress

i tried other codecs, frame size and debayer settings. same problem. Export to QT wraper = same problem. BUT export to dpx or jpg sequence works ok.

i tested R3D files on other computers = works ok. just mine mac doesn't work.

Any help? please

I downloaded latest redcine x build 356 and red fcs installer (I had some older builds before, but reinstalled latest)
running on mac pro 2x2.66 dual core, mac osx 10.6.6

from redexport log:
redexport Build 356 Mac 64bit Public Release
redexport: connect Host is down
redexport: -2 export_connect

Try a folder change

I've been battling this problem all day. I finally pointed the destination at the root of my RAID instead of the usual folder I'd been using for the previous 7 days, and it started working.
