PL mount adaptor for AL canon mount Scarlet

[William Graydon]

Has anyone used this adaptor as a temporary solution for a pl mount? Can't fork up the $2k just yet on the red mount.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't used that mount but i have used the Nikon to EOS Fotodiox mount and its works very well. They shipped fast ... al good experience.

Sweet. Which one is specific? They have one with dandelion focus? and one for F and G lenses. Thought they were essentially the same mount?

i posted this same thread a while back. what i came up with is that not too good of an idea to be running heavy cine lenses on the al canon mount. so a fellow user pointed me here. I havent purchased yet, but am damn well going too.

I looked at the cinemods as well.. My scarlet has the canon mount and i was going to get the Nikon Optitek mount and order the PL so I have all three but since Red announced the nikon mount later this summer I decided to go with the Fotodiox nikon F & G mount to hold me off.
