  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Which awesome person shot this? I love it.

I've been toying with some visual effects lately, and really looking forward to a car film I'm shooting in a couple of weeks (1st Scarlet project). Here is a grade and weather change over an r3d we have all seen. Can someone please let me know who shot it? I'd love to credit and thank them for making it available.

Wow, way to transform that scene!! It looks amazing. Especially the lights and reflections. The rain kind of looks like it's going the wrong way though (toward the camera). So you graded everything in After Affects? Can't wait to see the Skyline R34 project!

Yeah man, nice work! I like your thoughts about technical knowledge and creative freedom being related. Your results are a testament to that relationship. Mark Toia also comes to mind...

Thanks Roy, yeah, the rain is going both ways (actually there is much more going the right way but they are smaller particles and get a bit lost in the compression). I added the ones towards camera cos I thought it looked cooler ;) It's actually graded in EDIUS (8-bit color space!) with curves, a 3way and some masks with blend modes.

Cheers Clint :) I can't wait for EDU, I am preparing a lot of cool shit hehe :)

Yeppo, the clip has been used by DaVinci for all of their demos too....but I'm really just interested in finding out who shot it - pretty sure it has nothing to do with DaVinci - anyone can download those clips and play.
