Am I the only one? There is a need to use the processing power in the Scarlet in the best way possible.

3k - 3:4 aspect ratio - with as many frames pr second as possible. Ready to downsample to 2024x1500

There are tons of video delivery NEEDS for the capability to deliver 2k 3:4 in 50p or 60p "documentary framerates"

pretty please :hurray::hurray::hurray::hurray::hurray:

Ok, 3:2 is fine too.

He's thinking about speed, Steve…

Every color-correction device I know of -- Resolve, Baselight, Premiere, Pablo, etc. -- can all color correct and then matte and output renders at whatever frame size you want, including a 4x3 hard matte. ("4x3" is technically what this is called, not 3:4.)

But do you really need to be concerned with the 4x3 market? Realistically, I think the world is changing to 16x9 pretty rapidly, even though 4x3 is a typical additional delivery requirement for most networks. But a lot of them are just chopping off with the sides and not worrying about pan/scan (which is unfortunate).
