I just got an e-mail from them and they are beginning to ship out their D-plate. Finally.

Very excited.

Delivered today by Express. I quickly opened the package. Dang, its beautiful. #$%^ load of 1/4-20 holes. Unfortunately, no Scarlet to test it until next week, but very impressive.

Some quick pics.

I'm curious how it mounts as well. Is it a quick release system from the camera body? If so how does it lock on and detach without any visible latches?

It locks because of these spring plungers on the back of the D-plate. First, you screw your M4 bolts on the back of your camera, line up the holes, drop down into the slot. D-plate is firmly attached.

Plus the weight of the battery - holds down D-plate in place.

Brilliant idea.

Their Scarlet V-mount Pro Battery plate wt D-plate has the V-Mount Plate AND it has the D-Plate with Lemo cables?

Are these in stock? I need to order something like this ASAP.

Also, how are those cheap V-Mount batteries they have? 130 Wh for 225?

Just heard back from Gary and he said they are in stock but they are still fulfilling Pre-Orders.

Sweet.

Caden Nash, can you post a picture of it mounted on the camera if possible? I'd like to see how it sits compared to VF's and WC's.

Brandon,

Ok, when I get my camera back. I was happy not to wait like others for their V-mount plate. Everything seems to be back-ordered except MG1. Will post when I get it back - sometime next week.

I bought one. Seems like a good product. Not sure for the company but their customer service is top grade. Wow...quick answers. That's a company for you. Seems like they're very genuine and honest about their own and other third party RED products. That's nice to hear.

I appreciated their attitude and advice. Classy.

Thanks Julie & Gary

Can you take a pic of it on the camera please?

Thanks!

I'll be getting my rented Scarlet back next week so I will take some pics for you. If I have time; I'll shoot some video like how it mounts to the camera and others cool ways.

Mine shipped yesterday, gotta come thru uk customs tho so might still be a week or so.....will post if no one else has yet

My camera is coming back from rental on Thrusday...so I can take some pic for you.
