Hi guys,

I've already searched the forum for this issue and the answers didn't quite match what i needed.

I recently shot a music promo on my Scarlet with in camera audio courtesy of a Rode videomic. Now as you all know premiere doesn't support Scarlet audio (i did not know this).

I'm frantically trying to find a solution to getting the audio into premiere and synced up with the R3D files so i can then sync up with the music track.

Can anyone help me with this?

SOLVED : Did some digging found the BWF option in REDCINE-X

Hi Les, im running OSX, i tried to lightroom to Premiere plugin workaround but it seems theres a couple steps i missed. I will try the instructions on that thread and report back.

Thank you

On your next production... use 2 system audio. You'll get better quality and bit-depth and you can use a smart or dumb slate, but use a slate.

I use a Sound Devices 788T-SSD recorder and a Denecke Smart Slate and my audio is the master timecode. Make sure your camera and audio recorder are set to the same timebase (e.g. 23.976) and only plan to use in camera audio for a reference for synching with PluralEyes or within RCX Pro.

Two system audio creates an additional step in post, but the benefits outweigh using the in camera audio on any of the RED camera systems.

Good luck and happy Post!
