So what's the difference between the two... looks like no USB or power daisy-chaining, but essentially the same?

Where's the thunderbolt?

Just ordered mine :-) Shame the Hollywood store doesn't have them in stock I'll be playing with it this weekend ;-)

I presume it is bus-powered?

Haha seems to have crashed the store....

ETA: Aw hell, it's back up... I just had to order one.

NO, the store has been announced Down for maintenance, but at list I got the order in... ;)

Too bad this didn't came out few days earlier, I would had loved not to carry the Original bigger ones in my Bag all the way to Brazil.

Its okay, I guess I'll carry the mini's happily to my trip in NZ after that... ;)

OH man... this is not an easy decision: save $50 over regular 1.8" station and have a bus-powered station (but loose USB)... or spend the extra $50, but have the universal (albeit slow, but still universal) compatibility of USB? I have no idea why this is such a difficult choice for me.

The Mini is much physically smaller.

confused... besides form factor, what is different about the mini? FYI, the firewire that shipped with my reader in my epic package is faulty... very time we use it we get error and download stops... i
