This was an excerpt from his book The Law of Nines. Shot right before we sent the camera in for MX upgrade. Really could have used that chip for this dark shoot! Anyway a fun couple days a couple summers ago.

I used to use the law of 9's a lot surfing. I'd try and find the first wave in the set and count them up until the 9th and usually biggest wave rolled in for me. I never got it down to a science, it was an interesting thought.

Love the open on black with audio only to set the mood of the rainy night. Nice camera move too. Made it to 2:45 before the acting turned me off.
