Congratulation!

Hey Wes,

Yeah mine arrived last Thursday in Vancouver too! Mine too did not ship with the DSMC side handle.... a little upset that I had like 6 redvolts and no way to use it lol. But I found a guy named Dave over at Cramped Attic in Burnaby who custom made me an IDX V-lock mount with Lemo 1B connector to power it. I got my IDX batteries from Lorne Lapham. They sold me some of their used stuff so I saved quite a bit of money! 3 IDX V lock batts plus a Sony Quad charger for $750! The custom made Battery plate was only $250 too! And he made it within the same day of ordering it.

Grats gents! Mine just got allocated. Hopefully will be here within 3 weeks. All us Vancouver Scarlet owners should go on a city prowl sometime in the future! :)

Yeah definitely! My other friend just got his allocation email too! Soooo exciting!

Hi Wes, I just moved to Vancouver for a few months while I work on VFX on a film. Would love to connect with some film makers out this way. I ordered a scarlet but will not receive it for a couple months SO# 2688. If your doing any shooting I would love to come along and check out the camera...if not would love to meet for coffee or something.

Good luck with everything

Congrats Wes!:thumbup1:

Hey Wes, I got one coming to Vancouver too. Just wondering how were taxes and duties? How much more was it on top of the price?

Congrats on getting your Scarlet! Unfortunately, our Scarlet is still a ways away, but we'll be attending the free RED Education event down in LA on February 29th... I hope to pick up most of our Scarlet accessories (which are ready)... but unfortunately, without the brain, we'll just be able to look at the parts. Checking out a Scarlet that a guy named Dylan has in Vancouver tomorrow. Excited to see it.
