Jon B Music Video "Only One" Shot on Scarlet

Amazing - ! Cool lighting - Loved the look you gave to the piece - Well done!

Nice job! I shot a Jon B music video a few years back, super cool guy and really down to earth.

Great job. Beautiful imagery. The only comment I have is a matter of personal preference, I feel that there's alot to be desired as far as story and what's going on. But that's just me, other than that its a real good video.

Ironic because I saw a couple of things in it I desired a lot.

That said, I wondered to myself (because I'm the only one here) if the fill light was enough, if it was committed enough, in a manner of speaking. Subjective, obviously, but I found myself thinking about it a lot, which I don't want to be.

However, it might be just me. Like many, I have been watching Downton Abbey and I spend half the show thinking about the lighting. Frequently I find it too bright and specular, usually when we're to think a scene is being lit by unseen practicals. Not so much when it's supposed to be filtered daylight, like in the kitchen, stairwells or day-rooms where it's often pleasant.

In any case, thank you for posting your video. I have been wanting to shoot some videos and I would also like to do a performance video on a stage or single location controlled lighting. Easier, cheaper, faster and still allowing for high quality.

We definitely were going for a very moody look. I get tired of things being over-it. But I think we are right on the edge with the fill...

Great looking video. Only complaint I had was the singers lip sync. It felt like he was mouthing the words and not actually singing out load during the shoot. I've shot a few music videos and there is a big difference if the artist doesn't sing out load with the music. Other than that I enjoyed the lighting and shooting style.

I wonder if its an internet thing. I am very conscience of vocal sync, and he was def singing out loud. Sync looks solid here.

Thanks for the comments :)

Thta's what I'm talking about.. real professional footage that i can be proud of that was shot on the scarlet... great work! I'm also glad to see jon B still into music.
