What monitor color space is everyone grading in? I have a Dreamcolor monitor and have been using it with rec709. I'm fairly new to grading. Would this be the correct choice for grading Red footage in Redcine-X?

Not to be confused with the footage color space (Redcolor 2).

Steve - newbie to grading too (as well as now setting up my Dreamcolor...) but everything I have read is that rec709 IS the HD colorspace. or are you asking if there is a "4K color space"? If so I haven't heard it. Will be setting (well, trying...) my Dreamcolor to 709.

Will watch here with interest if there are other thoughts.

709 is fine for broadcast or Blu-ray. What are your deliveries ?
