  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Has anyone seen their Epic do this when running in HDRx?

Freaky right!
Yup, Scarlet does the same thing. Sometimes it'll also displace a chunk of the image from one side of the screen to the other (i.e. 1/4 of the left side shows up on the right). Seems like there are still some bugs to straighten out there.

These are both known issues we are actively working through. Neither affect the recorded image.

The stutter can be addressed by switching resolutions or by going in and out of HDRx.
The image displacement requires a re-start.

Just jump into play mode and back and it usually disappears.

Thank you! A little frightening when this happens the first time on a job. Good Idea about the dance video mode lol :-)

It works really well for dance music videos

Yes, perhaps we could get an option to record this way as well? Haha

Yes, I would like to formally request that feature in a future firmware update. LOL!

Scarlet has the same bug. I've found that pressing the 1:1 Magnify button twice on the Touch 5" LCD (the first to enter 1:1, then again to go back out) corrects the stutter issue.
