Hello!

Finally an owner, it is here! Today I went through setting it up, building, that sort of stuff. All cards work and format/record/offload (why shouldn't they). Menus work great and so far with the recording in my house no issues. There is a lot to learn and know about the camera, but in time and use. Below is the current setup I created while I waited for the camera, now that it is in use it may evolve, or get some stuff taken off, one things for sure, it is heavy..but a good heavy.

Anyway thanks for checking it out, as with everyone, I am very happy with the purchase. Thanks to Bryan, he did his part in communication over the 3 months and I really appreciate his efforts, and thanks for all at Red for allowing me to begin shooting lovely pictures. Ok thats it, happy shooting!

Daniel

Great Rig...

Can you list your pieces?

Thanks,
P

Awesome! So glad for everyone, but it looks like I have to stick to my t2i and 50 mm f/1.8...

Although one of the cheapest, It is a very good combination.

Hope to see some of the video from the Scarlet PL too!!!

Daniel, if you want to bring that touch monitor up a bit, consider putting a ROSETTE-to-SWAT RAIL ADAPTOR on the front of your top handle. I just ordered one of these bad boys and I think it'll be awesome :)

Just an idea

that's a great looking rig, congrats! Ontario Canada, or Ontario CA?

Great rig. Looking forward to seeing some of your work.

Thanks everyone, yeah now I am working on the shooting, should have some grabs up after the 18th weekend of an independent project.

Bob guessed most parts =], and Peter got the box, but it has an Abel Cine 15mm LTW to 19mm studio adapter (which is amazing and supplied perfect height of the box to the lens). Top handle is attached to the DSMC 19mm top mount. The solution you mentioned Trevor is awesome, maybe I will add it to my cage when it ships. Problem as of now is it can't spin 90 degrees for side viewing very well, that would solve it, thanks. Love the support here, thanks everyone!
