Personally I'd be more concerned that a 7+ page respectful discussion on some Scarlet issues was deleted. Hopefully you won't be the one stranded on set trying to troubleshoot a problem that you could have found the solution to by just reading a thread. Doesn't install much faith given the Bloom incident.

If the thread is indeed missing, it's probably just an honest effort to reduce the amount of unwarranted speculation. There are few conspiratorial secrets. Most of the difficulties related to all of the Red camera's have been sufficiently documented and most have a decent workaround. Stock issues have been promised to be worked out very soon.

I'm pretty sure it was in regards to the thread I created about the problems I was having with my camera. I asked to have it removed since it was feeding trolls that live on negativity of 5d's and 7d's and there almighty other cameras. No it hasn't been a smooth ship, but it was being turned into EVERY SCARLET HAS PROBLEMS all hail this other camera.

When really, I had a rotten EOS mount and some glitches. I shipped it to RED two monday's ago. I had it back and nearly perfect by Thursday. I just asked to have it removed due to false speculation of problems that only I was encountering. Vultures, trolls and cynics will always find something to feed on.

thanks jeffrey, i remind. i followed your thread. i'm happy to hear your problems are gone!
in my opinion it might be better to share the final expieriences and close a thread afterwards, than deleting the whole thread. this might cause headache and produce posts as the one i attached...

sorry, but as seen in this case you ar not right. deleting of such a thread does not reduce unwanted speculations. people remind such stories, and when these stories are ending up in a black hole, instead of making the solution public, a bad taste remains. post as the one which i pasted in my first post are the demonstration...
