  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

VIDEO CAMERA won Macworld 2012 Best of Show

I was lucky enough to aid Michael and his team at Macworld and it was pretty incredible. The app is incredibly exciting and the features they're working on now have industry changing potential.

Keep up the good work, Michael!

Wow congrats!!!

Congrats Michael!. You really have a great application. Look forward to additional testing and feedback for you.

Thanks Scott!

Please download the latest beta and try out the cool new "secret" feature you can turn on in settings. :)

Michael, it was nice to meet you at MacWorld and get a chance to see your excellent presentation of the new software. It not only looks great as is, with the stuff you have planned, it's going to be a killer app! Congratulations on your MacWorld success; I think it's just the beginning!!

Thanks Terry. It was great talking to you.

For awhile, I thought you were ignoring me! ;-)

Sorry about that Terry. Was in Cancun for the past week celebrating my 14th Wedding Anniversary and WiFi only worked barely, painfully slowly, and only part-of-the time if I stood in a certain spot in the lobby and tilted my iPhone at a particular angle. :)

Very cool app. With the way camera technology is going in cell phone devices, this is going to continue to be hot stuff.

Thanks for letting me test and enjoy!

James, among all of our Beta Testers, you were one of the most involved and gave some of the best feedback. Thanks again. I hope you've had a chance to test the latest beta version and try out the new features. Email me for more details and I owe you an iTunes Gift card.

Just got your email Michael. I'll download the new build tomorrow afternoon and let you know my thoughts.

No problem. Great to meet you. And Happy Anniversary!!

I was in the beta test team, and the first thing that I said after opening the app was "Wow!"
You can really record, edit, record some missing parts that you want to insert in a precise point, trim clips, add transitions, music and titles and it's ready for export and upload or send by email.
Really in minutes and all within the same application! :)

And you created a great little short film in minutes Rosario! Please check out the next release build available on private beta site in about 4 hours.

Thanks again for all of your help my friend.

Fantastic Michael! Great to see guys dreaming up and then going after great visions. Keep it up!!

Thanks Paul. I recently found an email I had sent to our team 8 months ago that said the build was ready for release in the next two weeks. I am glad we persevered and spent another 6 months on it before we even opened it to private beta. Everyone says "Real developers ship" ...but Paul Masson put it best when he said "We will sell no wine before it's time!".

Excellent app, just bought it and looking forward to experimenting with the "remote camera" capabilities...

Thanks William. Let me know if you would like to participate in the private beta program.

Michael,

Surprisingly, one of the codes was working a day later - so thanks for the free application! We'll let you know what we think.

That's great Don. Would love to know what you think so far. Significant update coming next week.

Congratulations Michael! Way to go!

Thanks Roberto!

I bought your App, it's wonderful, I love it! Any chance you could add image manipulation possibility? Like Snapseed has for stills? BTW, the focus/exposure control implementation is absolutely fantastic!

Thanks Tommi. Yes, we are going to add OpenGL filters in the future. Current iOS devices can't really handle the processing requirements for 1920 x 1080 filters at 30fps. We will likely start by enabling those only for lower resolutions or something so as to not completely wipe out an iPhone 4 battery in 20 minutes.
