Adobe on the hunt for some really interesting projects to showcase

[TedRed]

Since there has been so much recent traction on the Adobe Premiere editing workflow for RED, our good friends at Adobe have asked if we have any great projects for them to show case a RED/ EPIC and/or Scarlet project that was edited in Premiere Pro.

I told them I could think of no better place to find out than on the REDuser forum.

So if any of you have some good projects that would be great eye candy and proof of concept on how well RED and Adobe editing are doing these days, the Adobe gang would love to take a look.

You can email my partner in crime, Brian Henderson - brian dot henderson at red.com - with project details, web links, etc. to the projects, and he will get them to the Adobe Gurus for review.

Thanks!

+ Ted

Great news, can't wait to see what this community comes up with.

Defiantly

I think Tom Lowe is a Premier guy, he'd make adobe look good.

+1 to Tom Lowe's Timescapes+EPIC+Premier project

Do you just need projects that were shot red and edited premiere, or do you need a process to be documented along the way?

+1 on that.
Does it have to have been completed already?

[Tom Lowe]

Yes, I will be doing a lot of PR stuff with Adobe related to "TimeScapes."

[Ketch Rossi]

We have couple of interesting projects been shot and an other in pre-production editing and to be edited on Adobe, when they need the material for Ted?

[Eren Ozkural]

Thanks for the heads up!

Edited and finished/output the final version in Premieres CS5.5... sent Brian an email. Best,

Koo

[Steve Dent]

Premiere CS5.5 rocks... I never thought I'd say "Premiere" and "Rocks" in the same sentence, but there you go.

My company made the switch after pulling our hair out with FCP 7's EPIC workflow. We haven't looked back since! Native EPIC R3D editing in real time?? Yes please!

[Rob Anderson]

Save this space... A project in the works.

We've got some fashion stuff we could throw together. It would be more like a fashion RED reel.

[Stephen Pruitt]

Emails sent to Brian.

Interestingly, Adobe used a few clips from our first feature, "Works in Progress" for an After Effects demonstration.

If my Scarlet would ship I'd have something to submit for sure. I'm an FCPX burn victim as well, best thing that ever happened to me. I LOVE Adobe Premiere.

These guys have switched over to Premiere over the past several months, not sure where that started though.
