Side SSD module with 2 x Monitor ports

Would it be possible for red to make a side SSD module that has 2 LCD/EVF ports on it?

There is a lot of talk about the Pro IO but when all you are after is having both the BombEVF and LCD running at the same time then why not just have another port in the side ssd module?

A second LCD/EVF is all I am after and I am looking at spending thousands of dollars to make that happen. It's REALLY not making sense to me.

If a side SSD module is $1500 -- with one EVF/LCF port--how much do you think a replacement, 2-port module would be?

A thin module the size of the module adapter could maybe handle this, priced around $800. Until then...

well my suggestion was to have a LCD (5" Pro) base to have a through port (on the other side from the existing one) for the EVF. That'd have solved this but I don't know if that's possible. That's a question for the Red wizards.

I wonder if it would be possible to split the cable, or make an hdmi/hdsdi and d-tap to monitor...?

RED no doubt had their legitimate reasons not to include a second LCD/EVF port on the brain... I'm sure they're right.

However, we also desperately need a second monitor port - without the added cost/weight/space of the I/O Module.

Is there a way to make it work? Perhaps another version of the Module Adapter (I wonder what is in it?) with the port there... or, yes, another version of the SSD Module...

I remember somebody from RED talking about a possible solution being on the way... to split the signal, to have a through port etc. I can't find the thread so I hope I am not mistaken.

No matter what, a second monitor port is desperately needed. I can only hope there is a way to add it cheaply and elegantly.

That would be a great improvement to an already amazing small camera!
