Mason Reid Marner - New Addition to my Family

[Tom Jay Smith]

We shot this 2 nights ago, simply taking advantage of a beautiful situation... My new cousin sleeping on his Daddy (the owner of the epic!)

What a tool the EPIC is, too capture something so beautifully with nothing but available light!

Even when Mason reaches 25, he'll still be able to watch this in all it's beauty on his 5K TV! haha

As good a reason as you can have for future-proof pictures. I make no excuses for taking my EPIC home with me for just this kind of indulgence from time to time

[Tom Jay Smith]

My Indulgences are becoming obsessive! How can you not shoot with the Epic if it's just lying there!

My family are starting to feel like a 5K Reality Show!

Beautiful moments!!! Thank you for sharing your memories.

Your Welcome! I'm sure more will follow, it's highly addictive!

What ISO were you at...2k?

[Tom Jay Smith]

In the Mason Video most was shot at around 800-1000 at 24FPS and 1/48, but with the CP2's it seemed quite noisy thereafter as i pushed the iso further...

The Compression from 5K to 1080P and then the Vimeo Compression didn't help much either, but the mood in the room was very dim anyway... The images you see have been pushed to their maximum brightness as i find the Vimeo compression also darkens your upload!

Another test to add to the reality collection, this time down at the local football pitch.

This is proper football, if anyone calls it soccer please can a MOD ban them.

Cheers, English Man.
