  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

No LCD. Right now I am just going to use my Marshall Monitor and the side handle. It will get me by for the meantime. I wanted to buy more media instead because I am about to shoot a feature. I'm gonna save up though and buy it eventually.

And Michael and Brandon - Hell yeah Scarlet party!!!!!!!! Thats 12K between the three of us.

As for name I am leaning on Hugo since my cinematography teacher that passed away last year was Michel Hugo ASC. He taught me everything I know about cinematography. But I also did split it with my girlfriend so she has a say in the name as well : )
 
I think it'd be kind of funny/interesting to shoot quadrants like the JVC with four Scarlet's and see what kind of massive images we can get out of it!!! Just image the rig... Two side by side Scarlet's with another side by side rig on top.. It's a little mad scientist thing popping in my head... It would be like a 16K cam...:emote_head_explode:

Do what they did in The Social Network, where they had three RED's mounted together so they could create a long pan out of the panorama that they took.

Pretty clever :)

I'm using mine mostly for porn.
