Hello Guys,
Today I put together some footage shot a few months ago as a test to 300 fps and 120 to 5k.
With the RED EPIC
I used a redprime. 18mm.
I just wanted an opinion from you on the images and video quality, I used 1 once Twixtor. and I did not use neat video. I do a job this summer and would like to take the right direction.
I welcome any suggestion for improvement, thanks.

ciao David,
premiere pro 5.5 and davinci 8.2 beta.
I used only a 0.6 ND filter and set the red ISO 500 to 5600K. redlog film
What do you think of the color? I must say that in this situation the 18 redprime behaved well.
In the color correction I have done nothing just adjusted the contrast and brightness, the rest is default.
Thanks for your comment.

thanks

Great Stuff Luigi, i grew up spending the summers just at the other side of the mountain from you near Locarno-Bellinzona....Im going back there in August this year, hope I ll have my Epic by then to do some shoots around the area, Lago Maggiore and Lago Di Lugano are just amazing.

Was fun to watch those guys skate around. By the middle I was hoping to see some dramatic falls :)

I notice the sun and it's reflective rays seemed desaturated or dampened a bit. I noticed the same with my first R1 shoots, unless you boost in post, you don't get quite the same beautiful orange/red color from the sun.

Hey Dominik,
when you're in my part in Lugano, do me a whistle go for a beer;)

Hey Will,
Totally agree with what you say, but I've also noticed only against the sun and ND filter. Then post you can do what you want, the RAW helps a lot. I LOVE RAW RED ;)
