  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Anyone else starting to get "too used to" 4K res?!

So I have been playing around with my Scarlet footage that I have shot and after working many many hours with it. I'm getting so used to it and I keep getting myself in a position where I am zooming into the image and wishing or thinking there should be more! I am now keeping a couple clips from my 7d on wayside and refer back to them for a couple minutes and then go back to 4K, really puts things in perspective again!

Anyone else experiencing this? It's just an awesome feeling when you go back and forth. Makes me wish I had Jim's number so I could at least text him every time and say, "Hey Jim... Thanks."

might be like driving cars,, sometimes you have to drive old school again, just to remember where you come from , from time to time

at least the option to pan & scan i've gotten very used to when working for broadcast and not always having the luxury off having 2 cams operating the same stuff, this mostly because the broadcaster was still transmitting upscaled sd

Sometimes I wonder if my girlfriend is too hot.

Do you ever get the feeling that you make too much money?

Shot with Epic yesterday while waiting for my Scarlet and it was such a treat. being able to pull a quick grade in Redcine X just to show the AD quickly what it could look like was awesome. Can't wait till I have my own but I know what you mean of getting used to gear. Had the same feeling with my Nikon D3x the other week, (25 mega pixel) and was like do I really need this resolution. Then I looked at an older 12 mega pixle from the Nikon D300 and was like.... Yep I do...

Yes, let's thank him for inventing 4K.
