I bought these lights -- and the batteries -- for a job I did in remote parts of South Africa and Swasiland. They provide high quality daylight in a very lightweight and compact package. AND they can run off camera batteries. They are WAY more powerful than an on camera ENG light. Ganging the two Brute 9 lights together (I have included a single yoke and kit that lets you join the lights into one unit) puts out more light than a 200w HMI (!). The lights include ultralight filter frames (one shown with diffusion and one shown without diffusion), 4pin xlr extension cables with switches and blocks for plugging into wall outlets (N. American plugs included).

The version of lights that I am selling do not have built in dimmers.

I also purchased and am including (2) 4pin xlr to D-tap cables, which really unleash the benefits of these particular lights when combined with D-tap equipped batteries.

I am selling the LEDz package for $2000

You may optionally wish to purchase my set of SWIT batteries and charger as they are the ideal companion to these lights. I say this because the batteries have built in D-taps - you do not need a battery plate to use these batteries to power these lights - you can plug the D-tap cables directly into the batteries. The batteries have a lot of juice (more than RED batteries) and can power the lights for multiple hours. In addition, these batteries have been specifically designed for travel -- they are 160w Lithium Ion batteries (very lightweight for the power they provide) that separate into two 80w halves for airline travel -- a very clever system! The included charger and two batteries weigh the same as the RED power pack (even though they have more power, built in D-taps, and the clever split system).

I am selling the Batteries and Charger for $800. -- edit: batteries no longer for sale

Everything is used, but in very good, well maintained condition. You may notice some glue residue on the top of the battery charger - I pulled off a piece of tape for the picture (I will remove the glue before I ship the charger!)

These lights carry easily in a backpack, don't burn out (they're LEDs!), have a lot of punch, work great on ultralight light stands or just stuck in a corner (they run much cooler than a hotlight!!). I am reluctant to sell these because they are extremely handy to have(!). However, I need SSD media more than I need these right now.

Regards,
Paul

Still for sale - a lot of portable, battery operable daylight. Selling with or without the battery pack.

Yup

Some good bites but still for sale

The batteries are no longer for sale

But the light kit w/ P-tap cables are still for sale --

Thanks,
P

Do these lights come with power cables for plugging them in?

Also, do you think they would be decent for doing interviews on location?

Thanks

Hi Andrew,

Yes, they come with cables to plug into a wall
and
Yes they are decent for doing interviews on location - I purchased them for exactly that purpose: filming interviews (in remote Africa). They are very versatile.

Regards,
Paul
