  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Anyone know what lemo connector is used to plug into the Scarlet power connector?

I have a battery belt I would like to make a custom cable for, but I need to know which Lemo connector to order.

Thanks
Ben

How can I download the handbook ?
When I go to the support link, it says you have to be the scarlet owner and doesn't let me do that.

Thank you.

You should only have to log-in for the Firmware download. I wasn't logged in when I downloaded it.

Thanks Guys, I'll let ya know what I come up with

FYI, that is not the part number.. that is for a 6 pin, the power is 4 pin

The power is a four larger pins with two small key pins. Check the Ops guide for the pinout (Page 163).

Scott, My bad.. Duh.. the other 2 are for battery info, so the AC side is just 4 pins ( which is what I was looking at ). I just finished reading the manual, lots of little gotchas if you dont read it.

Great glad that makes sense now.. now to order a part.

Hi everybody,
I know it may seem odd to ask this here, but I recently received an AB battery plate from VF and the lemo connector at the end seems off center.
I uploaded a picture of the connector on my iDisk, the people of VF told me this is right. However, I have the feelings there's something wrong with it.
Please take a look at it: files.me.com/pietdeyaert/lbarhn

Thanks!

I still haven't found one either. It's a 12 week lead time at most places. I'm pretty sure the FGJ.1B.306.CLLD72Z will work also. The CLLD is the code for the type of insulation, the 72 is the diameter of wire being used (7.2mm = 72, 7.6mm + 76, etc.), and the Z means it has cable strain relief. So in theory any FGJ.1B.306.CLLD**Z will work. I have a couple on order so I'll let you know if they work or if there is anyone else can confirm this.

FYI, I bought a RED Power to XLR for $120. The part is $60 at mouser, not sure if it is in stock. I need to get mobile so saving $50 on making my own is less than smart ;')
