DSMC Quick Release Platform Pack & FMJ Kit possible?

Hey guys so I have the FMJ top plate and the DSMC QRPP - but I need a few more mounting points and was wondering if it is possible to use the DSMC QRPP with the FMJ Kit and still be able to be in line to use Arri AKS? My worry is wouldn't I essentially have to use the bottom mounting plate for the QRPP under the FMJ Bottom plate? And wouldn't this misalign me for using my ARRI MB20II and FF4?

If you are trying to use the FMJ Base and then mount the Red QR Plate under that then yes, the lens height will not be correct. I assume you only want to do this in order to use the FMJ Side Arms? You aren't the only one who wants to use the FMJ Side Arms with the Red QR system.

Maybe try Red's Tactical Ribs instead. They mount to the side of the camera instead of the riser plate.

Someone asked this before in another thread but it was never answered.

If I was going to bet I would say yes. But for myself I would first like to see it first. I would also like to see proof that the shipping version of the Red Ribs are NATO compliant too.

Been waiting on the RED ribs since December....of court to everyone surprise they are still in backorder.... :-/
I will report back on to whether they are NATO compliant and whether they can connect to the FMJ top when we get them. Of course that could be a week or 6 months from now since we never know when the RED accessories are out of backorder...
