I'm looking to get some IDX batteries for Epic that are smaller/lighter than Red Bricks.

Any opinions on these Endura IDX batteries ?

E-HL9 or E-HL9s - can anyone with experience using these batteries tell me if they are smaller/lighter than Red Bricks, and about how long they might last on Epic compared to a Red Brick.

E-7s - These look good as they are very small and lightweight, but I think last about half the time a Brick would. I am definitely getting some of these because of the weight, but would love to know how they compare to the E-HL9 or E-HL9s, and if there is any middleground.

Are there other batteries I should look into or are these the ones for me based on my criteria ?

thanks for the help!

We have used the Tiffen Powercube, IDX 10HD, and HL9 and HL9S since we started 4 years ago. They all share the same basic design, and I believe it's the same chemistry as well.

Compared to the Endura 7s, you got longer runtime and a much higher cutoff, enabling you to use transmitters and WFF's without problems.

They are lighter and smaller than the redcube, but also have a shorter runtime. On the red one we got around 1 hour per battery, with a red drive and EVF/LCD, but no transmitter or wff.

If you are not going to board a plane, some prefer the higher capacity batteries...
