We're running into a small consideration, that I would not even be putting on this forum, except for the fact that when we got our new Red-One, there seemed to be such a concern about static electricity.
In the studio situation we are currently working in, for some reason, due to the time of year, or humidity, or temperature, or studio floors, or whatever, we are picking up a lot of bodily static electricity. It is to the point, that every time we approach the camera on it's tripod, and first touch it, we get a shock from the static build up.
Is there an easy way to "discharge" before we touch the camera? I certainly would not want "our" ELECTRIC PERSONALITIES to damage anything internally with the camera. Is that even a possibility?
Any help or advise is appreciated.
Thanks much.
