Lens Support for Master Primes

Hello Everyone, I was hoping someone could help me out.

I'm shooting with a set of Master Primes on an Epic and I was wondering if any of the lenses 18mm-75mm require lens support.

Also if they do, could you recommend a system?

They don't. Especially with the Titanium mount on the Epic.

Nope....

You can even put the 300 on the EPIC with no support.. Master primes no probs.

Yeah unless you putting the Master Zoom on Epic, I would not worry...

I have used my set of Arri Zeiss Master Primes on our Epic for almost a year, no problems, even with the BEAST that is the 150mm, (just need to be careful with this one, same as when using the RPZ 18-85) or the 12mm for that matter, so you are good...

Ha ha, crazy uh...

Look at the size of a fully loaded production Arri Alexa to shoot Raw same as I was doing with my hand held Epic on SSD...


Of course at 5k 120fps while Alexa at 3k 60fps (after they paid the $1,200 upgrade)...

We generally run the 150mm with a lens support. All the others without.

Never used support with Master Primes. They are quite short, so not much stress on the mount and not much vibrations that I could notice.
