Congrats!!!! Can't wait to get mine #1211.... You got TWO!!!... slap those two on a 3ALITY! :ihih:

Good move : having a backup camera brain and a second set of accessories is a mandatory when you lend the other one.

Congrats

Congrats

Congratulations! Can't wait.

Where is is this "fitty cent" we've been hearing about. Was it a music video or pick up for a movie (which he's been doing a lot of lately)?

Also, did you ask RED to wait until they had both ready before they shipped?

Oh word Dan, You know Casey! He was great to work with on that shoot(he was actually at the unboxing and snapped those pics above!). I was with him on that shoot as camera tech and the most versed in red, member of the small production team. We shot using a shoulder rig made of red rock parts, used the EOS Canon Adapter with canon and nikon glass, the most used lens was a tiny nikon 50mm 1.8 as seen below. B-cam was a Canon 7D.

Congrats!!! I found my other SCARLET brother! I'm number 66! When I go to NYC, I will have to hit you up!

oh hell yeah! Its funny, there is no difference between the two we have but I feel a special connection to number 67. I don't even want to touch number 262... if that is her name, I can't remember...

but seriously it feel real cool to have two matching scarlets!

here is #00067 with a new lightweight masterzoom on it, 15.5 - 45mm 2.8 its very sharp for a zoom. after all it is zeiss glass in the same realm of the master primes

It was a music video. No, we asked them to not ship the accessories until the cameras were ready. maybe we should had done the opposite, then we would have our touch screens maybe.

oh shit I was wrong the other one is #00272 not 262, my bad

If you can make it happen, I'd be very interested in seeing a .r3d from that 50mm 1.8 Series-E Nikkor. I actually have one and would love to see how well it holds up at 4k motion.

sure, how do you trim r3d in red cine?

I think there is a .r3d snapshot button in RCX... right beside the tiff-snapshot button (it's a little logo of a camera with "R3D" on it). If memory serves me correctly, it's the third or fourth button from the left directly underneath the viewer window.
