Hi all,

Does anyone have issues with the Zeiss ZE lenses with the Canon mount?
My Canon lenses works perfect with the Epic but the Zeiss does not. Zeiss ZE just start making a flickering noisy sounds and the iris goes crazy.
This is a brand new ZE lens and it works fine with other cameras.

I run my Epic with firmware 2.0.5 beta version.

Anyone experienced this?

Thanks for help!

Its not programed into the camera firmware right now, so the camera has no idea what lens it is and will muck about trying to figure it out.. don't worry nothing is wrong with the lens or the camera. Just need to wait for that lens to be characterized.

Good to know as I'm considering the ZEs as well.

I also rely on Zeiss ZE, do you have an idea of the timeframe? Thanks Jarred!

Yeah, jarred, not to shove more onto you, but are you going to update a list of compatible lenses, like, say the Tamron 17-50 2.8?

Thanks for the reply Jarred! Good to know. Strange thing is that some ZE lenses work perfect and some does not. ZE 35mm 1,4 don´t have any issues with the Canon mount but the 50mn 1,4 is still not working good.
